ROW DTLA
On a family trip to Los Angeles, I visited ROW DTLA, where old factories and weathered architecture stood alongside trendy vendors and restaurants. The meeting of new and old quietly drew me in. Returning on a weekday morning, I found the place nearly empty. The clean lines of café cups, graffiti tracing the walls, and the long shadows cast by the buildings settled into a single, unexpected harmony. Working in black-and-white digital photography, I tried to hold this layered intermingling — a place where different times share the same frame.
