The Pencil of Nature
Inspired by Talbot's The Pencil of Nature, this series allows winter light to draw directly upon snow. Shadows of reeds and branches become fleeting etchings, as if nature were sketching itself in silence. In these brief imprints, photography returns to its origin—light writing the world into memory before disappearance.
