Save Korea 2025
Between January and April 2025, hundreds of thousands of citizens gathered every Saturday in Yeouido and Gwanghwamun to oppose the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol. The crowd included young families with children, elderly veterans, and individuals from diverse social backgrounds. Despite their differences, they moved and chanted as one body, united by a shared anxiety over the nation’s future. Standing within the mass, I photographed not from a distance but from inside the tension. The images document democracy not as an institution, but as a lived, contested moment—fragile, emotional, and deeply human. (This project received an IPA Honorable Mention.)
