Save Korea 2025
Between January and April 2025, hundreds of thousands of citizens gathered each Saturday in Yeouido and Gwanghwamun to oppose the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol. The crowd held young families with children, elderly veterans, and individuals from across Korean society. However different their lives, they moved and chanted as one body—bound by a shared anxiety over the country's future. Standing within the mass rather than at its edge, I photographed the tension from inside. The images record democracy not as an institution but as a lived, contested moment—fragile, emotional, and deeply human. (TIPA Bronze Medal, IPA Honorable Mention)
