Venice Beach. LA

When I first arrived at Venice Beach, I thought this beach was more comparable to a gigantic stadium than a vacation spot.

The beach contained various athletic facilities. Here, people played basketball with each other, jogged along the coast, and skateboarded with each other. Through these different sports, people enjoyed the beach in their unique way.

I wanted to capture these dynamic movements and the passion for the different sports through my photographs. Throughout filming, I continuously wanted to join in the passionate basketball game, run with them freely on the beach, and skateboard on the ramps.
